The violation of governor's wife

Arnold Schwazenegger is a governor in California. He is also known as a star of Terminator, one of the box office movies. There was a news about his wife who break the law, more than once at the same law. What is the purpose of his wife doing that? Does she want to be like her husband (famous and very popular)?-Just a kidding comment-

Maria Kennedy Shriver, first lady’s office was caught by TMZ’s camera holding a cell phone while driving without using handsfree. In California, there is a law which ban the people using cell phone while on the wheel without using handsfree. Based on that law, of course the governor’s wife has done the violation. The more fatal one, Shriver drove her black SUV around a sharp right turn at a city intersection that way while she was on the phone. It’s not only endangering her, but also other people.

The attitude which was showed by Arnold’s wife shows us that although she is a governor’s wife, it does not mean that she never breaks the law at all. There’s still a violation and she has to pay some dollars as its fine.

Her attitude will cause the psychology effect for the people in that state who are govern by Arnold. If his wife not adhering the law, of course some of the people will think twice to run the law. This is being inappropiate behavior to be shown by a governor’s wife. As a first lady, she should be a good model of a good citizen, not oppositely; break the law more than once at the same law.

Arnold, as a governor, is ashamed by his wife’s attitude. By tweeting, he said thanks to TMZ. Arnold’s spokesman, Aaron McLear says that the governor will ask his wife not to hold the phone while driving. This is the true attitude which must be done first by a governor. At second, Arnold should more coherent to his wife about that violation because he is not only a leader of his family, but also a leader of the state which that law is applied. Arnold has just reminded his 16 year-daughter to not break the law or his daughter will go everywhere by bus. And I think, he should use the same way to remind his wife. That is a must. Law does not only for certain people, but for all the people in order to save the freshness and orderliness.

The violation which has been done by Shriver is not a good behavior to be followed. And surely the law which has been broken is a law that has been signed and approved by her husband, a governor of the state. And the violation is happened when her husband still govern the state, California. And also based on the news, it has happened twice. What a very bad attitude!

Talking about law is not far from ethics. Shriver’s attitude (about this violation) is assumed unethical. From the household side, her attitude indicates that she is a wife who just support her husband a little. And from the civilization side, she is included as one of citizen who not obey the law. She should be more ethical to support her husband’s career, to be a good wife, and also to be a good citizen. She should comment on this violation, at least ask a forgiveness, not just no comment because she is a first lady.
